The total scope of construction works -28,200 cubic meters. The complex consists of the church for 1200 people, the chapel for 200 people, the Sunday school for 144 pupils, the church- tower. Holy Ascension took place 40 days after the rising of Christ, in outskirts of Jerusalem after Jesus spoke with the apostles. The last act of Christ before disappearance was blessing. Two men in white clothes stood near them. /Acts-1,10-12/. “Two men in white clothes”- it is a typycal description of the angels in the New Testament.

Jesus Christ between two angels - it is the main idea of the three- dome composition of the church. The churchs, having three domes have deep roots in the building tradition of Ukrainian people. The smooth lines of the domes, which are made from white steel, ssymbolize the white clothes of the apostles and the sacredness of the moment of Holy Ascension. The compositions of the gables, domes, peaks help us comprehend the best architectural traditions of the 1930`s. The four columns form the four three-dimensional archs, which support the drum with the main dome.
