Underground Lviv

The project is implemented jointly with: the city of Rzeszow, the Republic of Poland. The realization of this project will enable Lviv to present the most interesting objects of underground Lviv connected with significant cultural and historical facts of the city’s formation. The projected underground tourist route starts from the Low Wall, extends from east to west through the historic center of the city of Lviv, combining the underground historical buildings: residential buildings, temples and the town hall.
The route passes underground spaces of the historical communication elements of the city - the borderline, the lane along the wall, the streets, the courtyard, the front of the park, the square, the passage, along which there are buildings of various cultural and household purposes. The route connects not only the eastern and western parts of the city walls, but also objects of the dynamic (Dominican Church) and the classical (Jesuit Church) baroque, dwelling houses with elements of Gothic, Renaissance, Classicism. Many buildings combine a common history, events, figures.
