The building site occupies the northern slope part of the mountain of Citadel, which adjoins to the building of National Scientific Academy library. The mountain Citadel with former fortress buildings of second half ХІХ - architectural monument of local importance. Before occurrence the fortress structures, the mountain of Citadel was the free green zone, which served as the rest place. The walking track from city to Pelchynskyj pond passed between the Kalicha hill and Voronovskyh hill. The towers have appeared such material weights, artifically introduced by a man into a nature, which were not included into the contradiction with landscape structure and have fixed natural height.

By the project is stipulated to return the entrance on the plateau territory on the given place, and to design the storehouse as a gate with two towers at the entrance. Thus structure of the bookstore executes one more function – the viewing platform, from which the wonderful views on old city open. The landscape grotesque - deepening, caused not only architectural plan, but also necessary slopes of the foot inclined planes. The rests of slopes, trenches, as traces of the historical past of Citadel are included in geoplastic of the front entrance.
